Current Responsibilities
As part of the tenant representation group, Mr. McCarthy is responsible for developing new business relationships, providing market research, performing financial analysis, lease negotiation and documentation for corporate users. As part of that role, he served as an analyst for the group.  This immersion in the Dallas market and daily contact with building leasing representatives has given him broad market knowledge in all Dallas submarkets.  Mr. McCarthy brings strong strategic thought as well as analytical skills and this market knowledge to the corporate facilities planning, relocation and renegotiation process.  
 
Experience
Prior to joining the tenant representation group, Mr. McCarthy was with JLL’s landlord leasing group.  While there he was responsible for leasing over 2.5 million square feet of office space for both Institutional and Private owners of real estate, giving him valuable insight into the mindset of building owners.

Education and affiliations
Mr. McCarthy received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas in Communication Studies. 

Mr. McCarthy was named one of Dallas Business Journal’s 2011 Heavy Hitters.  He currently serves as a volunteer at The Downtown Dallas Homeless Alliance, is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, TREC Young Guns, Urban Armadillos of Downtown Dallas and State Fair of Texas Raffle Committee.
