Current responsibilities

Mr. Kolp is a Vice President of JLL's Project and Development Services Group in Columbus, Ohio.

Currently, Mr. Kolp is assisting Bowling Green State University with the development of its $200 million Master Plan renovation of their campus core academic buildings.

Experience

Mr. Kolp has successfully completed a diverse host of projects throughout his 35 years in real estate development and construction. He has managed large complex multi-year projects, multi-site projects, custom individual projects and fast paced tenant improvement projects.

In his role as Owner's Representative, Mr. Kolp is experienced in managing numerous stakeholders with their divergent interests while ensuring that the project goals and objectives are achieved.

Mr. Kolp has worked with both public and private sector clients. His project experience includes corporate and investment office buildings, residence halls, dining centers, warehouses, call centers, tenant office spaces, hotels, retail, infrastructure and parking structures. Specifically, he recently completed the Centennial and Falcon Heights Residence Halls for Bowling Green State University, the South Campus Gateway Project in Columbus, the Ohio State University Medical Center office tenant space, and the Ross Heart Hospital for The Ohio State University Medical Center.

These projects necessitated the ability to coordinate the complexity of issues surrounding fast paced projects as well as manage tight budgets and aggressive schedules. Whether coordinating public agencies, utility companies, multiple contractors, and testing agencies; managing the needs of retail tenants with the base building; or overseeing the vendors for signage, furniture, telephone, security, audio visual; a focus on the program, budget, and schedule must be maintained in order to achieve the client's goals and objectives.

Education and affiliations

Mr. Kolp earned a degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University and a degree in Philosophy from The Athenaeum of Ohio.
