Current responsibilities
Brian Saal is an Assistant Vice President on the Government Investor Services (GIS) team in Washington, DC. 

The JLL GIS practice is the largest of its kind in the nation and has successfully completed over four thousand individual lease transactions involving Federal Government tenants for private sector owners of real estate. 

Brian specializes in advisory, acquisition and disposition services involving assets with Federal Government tenancy.  

Brian also provides financial and negotiation support in Federal lease procurements.  His responsibilities include market and financial analysis, providing capital markets insights into all levels of Federal transactions, identifying acquisition opportunities for clients and preparing offering materials for potential investors.

Prior to transitioning to the Government Investor Services Group, Brian worked with the JLL Investment Sales team in Washington, DC, from July 2007 until June 2009.  Brian conducted numerous financial analyses and valuations on all real estate asset classes totaling tens of billions of dollars.

Prior to joining JLL, Brian was an active duty naval officer and helicopter pilot. His naval service included four years in Jacksonville, FL flying with SH-60B operational squadron HSL-44. 

Brian was an aircraft commander and completed deployments to South America and the Persian Gulf.  His most recent tour was in Washington, DC, at Navy International Programs Office (NIPO) where he served as an export licensing officer.
