​​Current responsibilities

Julia Georgules is Director of Local Markets Research for the United States for JLL, based in San Francisco, California. In her role, her responsibility is to direct and implement strategy, methodology, product / platform enhancement and the firm’s overall analysis, message and outlook for the macro U.S. office sector.

Julia also ensures that JLL’s research platform evolves to meet the evolving needs of JLL’s clients and prospects and proactively creates thoughtful research on a variety of topics relevant to today’s corporate real estate decision makers.

Experience
Julia began her career with The Staubach Company in 2006, working with the tenant representation team, focusing on business development and client service. The Staubach Company was acquired by JLL in 2008, at which time Julia became research analyst for the San Francisco market.

In 2010, Julia was promoted to Senior Research Analyst and expanded her scope of responsibility to include working with multiple markets throughout the northwest region to establish the Americas research platform and best practices. 

In 2012, Julia was promoted to Research Manager for the San Francisco and East Bay office markets, and assumed co-leadership of the high-technology research group for the U.S. and currently co-authors the U.S. High-Technology Office Outlook, which analyzes 34 markets across the country.

In 2014, Julia was promoted to Vice President and assumed the role of Associate Director of Office Research for the United States for JLL.

Education
Julia holds an MBA with a concentration in Global Strategic Management from Dominican University of California. She holds a bachelor of arts in International Business from San Diego State University, with a concentration in marketing and Western European culture and business from the European School of Economics in Lucca, Italy.
