Current Responsibilities
Jodie Matthews is a Vice President of the New Jersey Operations group.  Ms. Matthews is responsible for client relationship development, management, and implementation of real estate transactions.  Ms. Matthews also serves as a Transaction Manager on a large international account.  She is responsible for overseeing numerous transactions for all phases of real estate including acquisition, disposition and the development/implementation of strategies.


Experience
Ms. Matthews has over seventeen years experience both as a private landlord and commercial real estate broker.  She has worked with corporate clients in a wide variety of industries on both local and national assignments.  Ms. Matthews expertise includes financial analysis, tenant procurement and lease negotiations.  She has worked on several national account teams coordinating the reporting, implementation and execution of both tenant representation and disposition of real estate assignments.  Due to her in-depth market knowledge of New Jersey, she has become a valuable resource in the due diligence process for the acquisition and disposition of real estate.


Positions
Prior to joining JLL, Ms. Matthews worked at Cushman & Wakefield for twelve years as an Associate Director. In the past five years, Ms. Matthews has worked on almost 200 transactions for over 3 million square feet with an aggregate value of approximately $300 million.  Early in her career she spent four years with a private landlord working in leasing, property management and lease administration for office, retail and industrial space.


Education and Affiliations
Ms. Matthews holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Maryland – College Park.  She is a member of the Ryan Wolfe Kossar Foundation and a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
