​​​​Current Responsibilities

Gary Godsey is an Executive ​Vice President sharing responsibility in the daily oversight of the Tampa office operations, collaboration among JLL's integrated service offerings and focus on implementing the company's growth strategy in the Tampa Bay region.​  Additionally, he handles transaction management services for office tenants both locally and nationally and is responsible for managing the North American real estate portfolio for Gerdau, the international office requirements for Research Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., as well as a number of local based companies.



Gary has managed over 500 lease and capital transactions in excess of 6M square feet. His tenant focused services include strategic planning, site selection, contract negotiation, construction management, and incentive consulting. Gary’s recent local transactions include a 107,000 global headquarters lease for Gerdau,  25,000 s.f. office lease restructure for Microsoft, a 50,000 s.f. consolidation project for SAIC in the Westshore submarket, acquisition of a 100,000 s.f. headquarters building for PDQ and the disposition of 20,000 s.f. of excess office space for HDR. Other clients of Gary’s include American Integrity Insurance Group, Nike, Verizon, Computer Sciences Corporation and Lending Tree.


Education and Affiliations

Gary graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor of arts degree in Management Information and a master’s degree in Psychology. Gary is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida. He is active in education and coaching high school football in the Tampa Bay area and is a director with East West Shrine Game. Gary is consistently recognized as a Costar Power Broker for leasing brokers in the Tampa Bay Market.
