Our people

Current responsibilities 
As a member of JLL’s Markets Executive team, Steve Ramseur is responsible for leading the firm’s focus on Occupier clients.  This includes Tenant Representation, Project Management (PDS), and Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS). He has 25+ years of real estate experience in managing global portfolios, Transaction Management, Lease Administration, Project Management, Facility Management, Strategic Advisory, and National Valuation and Property Tax expertise for both national and global corporations. Steve also has recent M&A experience having sourced and led the acquisition of BRG, a global OP, MAC and Technology company. Steve serves on JLL’s Brokerage Executive Committee (BEC), Brokerage Leadership Council (BLC) and the Corporate Solutions Americas Leadership Team (CSALT).

Steve has spent his career working in a number of different disciplines within the real estate industry.  Steve has led the USAA relationship for ten years including the delivery of workplace strategy, campus master planning, transaction management (office and retail), change management, and technology.   He served as the Account Director for AT&T and was responsible for overseeing the delivery of transaction and capital markets services across the Southeast and Midwest. Prior to this, he led the integrated delivery of facility management, transaction management, lease administration, and strategic advisory for multi-national clients such as Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). 

Steve was actively involved with the integration of Citigroup’s DFW locations involving 14 locations spread over a 2.3 million square foot portfolio. The result was a 1.3 million square foot build-to-suit.

Education and affiliations
Steve earned his MCR designation from CoreNet Global. In addition, he also earned an MA in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University and a BA in Urban Planning with a minor in Construction from Texas State University, and is currently working on a Masters in Biblical and Theological Studies at the Dallas Theological Seminary.

Steve has published numerous articles on real estate and the economy. He was the recipient of the F. Grady Stebbins Scholarship of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and the American Society of Real Estate Counselors Scholarship. He has also served as an instructor for the International Association of Assessing Officers and is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable for the Mays Graduate School at Texas A&M University, where he lectures. Mr. Ramseur is a current board member for the CoreNet Global Central Texas Chapter, and a board member of the Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership.
