Current Responsibilities
Mr. Horner is an attorney and has been active in New York and national corporate real estate and brokerage for more than 25 years. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2008 as a Managing Director after the merger with The Staubach Company. Mr. Horner’s practice is concentrated in the insurance, financial services and legal industries. His corporate clients include ACE USA, MMC, Pfizer Inc., Sirius Satellite Radio, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, JP Morgan Chase, American Financial group, and MCL Consulting. Recent law firm clients have included Lovells, McCarter & English, Norris McLaughlin and Haynes and Boone.

Experience
Mr. Horner spent 11 years at Staubach as a Principal and Managing Principal building the office from a start up to $30 million in revenue. He was a member of the Executive Committee for 11 years.  Mr. Horner previously ran the Corporate Services Group for Premisys Real Estate Services (subsidiary of Prudential) providing real estate services and cost savings for corporate users nationwide. Prior to joining Premisys, Mr. Horner spent 10 years with American International Group (AIG). He was responsible for managing a 4 million square foot domestic portfolio of leased space and a 750,000 square foot portfolio of owned buildings. Mr. Horner managed these two portfolios by creating licensing and staffing; Pinestarr Realty, which became AIG’s in-house brokerage company. His mission at AIG was to reduce occupancy costs by creating a transaction process methodology which has been the core of his client service delivery since 1987. Mr. Horner has completed transactions in excess of 10 million square feet, including international assignments.
 
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Horner is a graduate of The University of Vermont and New York Law School. He is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey and holds Real Estate Brokerage licenses in New York and New Jersey. In addition, Mr. Horner has been active in The International Development Research Council (IDRC) now Corenet, (Chairman, Marketing Committee, BCCR Exam Committee) and The Urban Land Institute (Small Scale Development Council, Corporate Real Estate Council).
Mr. Horner has won Top Producer Awards every year from 1999-2011. He was also awarded the Top Gun Designation each year from 2002 to 2011. He was an MVP finalist in 2001 and won the company’s highest honor, the “Champion of Excellence” Award in 2006.
