Current responsibilities

Jim Schneider is responsible for internally driving JLL's HUD/FHA originations Nationally. Jim supports other JLL staff in their navigation and issuance of debt directly from Jones Lang LaSalle's HUD/FHA platform. The primary uses of that debt are for construction and permanent financing of Multifamily, Co-Op, Senior, IL, AL, SNF, & Hospitals.


Mr. Schneider has originated and closed approximately $2 Billion of loans in FHA/HUD MAP & LEAN programs for the construction and permanent financing of Multifamily, Co-Op, Senior, IL, AL, SNF, & Healthcare Facilities. Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Schneider worked at Centennial Mortgage between 2002 and 2018 and where he became the Sr. Vice President - HUD Originations. During that tenure, he developed and instituted many operational innovations to re-engineer the HUD process, making its products more swift and viable in the conventional world. Mr. Schneider was also a Director of Originations at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company for approximately 5 years. Prior to working in FHA, he was a public accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
