Current Responsibilities

Don Archuleta, a 30-year veteran of the real estate industry, has an extensive background in all aspects of commercial mixed used property management. Don's day-to-day responsibilities at Independence Plaza include supervising the janitorial and security teams as well as handling construction management services for all leasehold improvements.  He also is responsible for overseeing all non-mechanical capital improvement projects.  His well-organized and attention to detail persona has allowed Independence Plaza to meet its critical service delivery deadlines while maximizing value to the owner. He also possesses strong problem resolution skills, which has improved operating efficiencies at the property.  


Prior to joining JLL he worked for Brookfield Properties in the capacity of the Operations Manager (from 1995 to 1998), Assistant Property Manager (from 1998 to 2005) and Property Manager (from 2006 to 2009) at the World Trade Center and Republic Plaza.  Don's tenured experience encompasses significant responsibilities in security protocols, construction and project management, and handling all aspects of implementing work processes for contracted janitorial, security and parking services.  He possesses excellent communication and customer service skills and has a talent for building cooperative relationships with contractors.

Education and Affiliations

Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver, a Real Property Administrator designation from BOMA, and is a LEED accredited professional.  He is a committed, dependable, high energy team player with the ability to form cohesive relationships that enhance the management team's value enhancement strategies for its owner.
