Current Responsibilities

Ms. Vancil has been with JLL for 4 years and is a Project Manager specializing in commercial interiors. Her primary responsibilities include managing planning, design and construction. She is detail oriented and leverages her design experience to support the client's business requirements by reviewing space and furniture plans, construction plans, providing feedback and recommendations, managing budgets and owner business partners.

Kathie has experience working with a wide variety of project types including education, technology firms, law offices, financial institutions, as well as dental offices and representing property management on building upgrades and capital projects.


Ms. Vancil is currently supporting the renovation of a major flight training center where she is part of a team overseeing a major reconstruction renovation, IT coordination, furniture procurement, signage, move management and exterior site work. Kathie has a strong background in managing multiple tenant improvement projects simultaneously while ensuring the integrity of the client's goals and vision for projects of all sizes. 

Prior to her experience with JLL, Kathie was a Facilities Planner for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. During her 5 year tenure, she supported a major renovation project, numerous design upgrades throughout the building and created new standards for furniture and finishes for the district. Her excellent communication skills and focus on outstanding customer service ensured that business leaders and end users were satisfied in their new space.

Education and Affiliations

Ms. Vancil earned a Certificate of Interior Design and Interior Architecture through the University of California, Berkeley Extension. She is a LEED Green Associate and is a member of USGBC. Ms. Vancil participated in the Project and Development Services (PDS) National Diversity & Inclusion's 2016 Mentorship Program.
