Current Responsibilities

Ray currently oversees multifamily agency lending for Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco within JLL. In this role, he assists originators and producers in understanding and placing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multi-family financing throuhgout the region, as well as developing strategies for investment sales teams on understanding the debt that could be available for various multifamily assets.  Ray works closely with both internal and external clients in negotiating various debt terms that are beneficial to both the client's interests as well as JLL's.


Ray began his career in multifamily under Oak Grove Capital as an underwriting analyst, where he worked closely with the Chief Underwriter as well as individual deal underwriting teams in fully understanding a deal from application until close. Oak Grove Capital was purchased by JLL in late 2015, at which time Ray moved to a production support roll. Working as part of a small team that closed $ 2.4BN in 2017 alone, Ray has been been able to utilize the skills he learned during his time working in underwriting to quickly and efficiently assist originators in placing multifamily debt across a wide range of assets.

Education and Affiliations

Ray graduated from the University of West Florida in 2012 with a Masters of Science in Acquisition and Contracts and graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2010.
