Our people

Current responsibilities
Barry Weiner serves as Vice President for JLL’s Project and Development Services group in the Texas region.  He is currently providing project management services in Houston and south Texas to Aon Corporation, BP America and Lone Star College System. His projects include:
  • 60,000 SF, $11.7 million Atascocita Center, a satellite classroom facility for Lone Star College System
  • 83,000 SF, $13.5 million academic Cy-Fair Center, a satellite classroom facility for Lone Star College System
  • 350,000 SF, 6 story, LEED Platinum office building, Helios Plaza, designed to house 1200 energy traders and 1000 support personnel for BP America on their Westlake Campus
  • 176,000 SF regional corporate office for Aon Corporation
  • 348,000 SF, $20 million capital improvement program for Coca-Cola
  • 300,000 SF, 1,700 workstation furniture and renovation project for Hewitt
  • 120,000 SF tenant build-out for Hewitt Associates, New Delhi, India
  • 42,000 SF corporate office for Innovene
  • 48,000 SF tenant build-out for Statoil Gulf Services

Experience
Mr. Weiner brings extensive experience in project and development management as well as a strong background in real estate strategic planning.  Prior to joining JLL, he was a Principal with the real estate consulting firm of The Travis Group, where he provided project management services to corporate, institutional, and commercial clients.  He also served as the Director of Project Management Services for CRG, Inc., the corporate real estate consulting arm of Edward S. Gordon Co. of New York.  His clients included Hewlett Packard, Maryland Casualty, RHH-Aon, U.S. Sprint, Honeywell, FNBC Bank and PNC Bank.
 
Other experience included serving as a Project Director with the corporate real estate group of a Fortune 100 oil company where Mr. Weiner led the team that completed the interior build-out of a new 51-story, 1.2 million s.f. corporate HQ.  Additionally, Mr. Weiner served as the CRSS Architecture Studio Technical Director for the phase I design of Chrysler Corporation’s $675 million technology center, which included over 1 million s.f. of R&D laboratories, as well as 1 million s.f. of corporate offices.

Education
Mr. Weiner earned a Bachelor degree in Architecture from the University of Texas in Austin.
