Current responsibilities
Tess joined Jones Lang LaSalle in October 2017 as a Vice President in the New York Retail Division. Seven years into the business, she has had extensive experience with both tenant and landlord representation. Tess has been engaged as a consultant for several national projects spanning from Miami and Chicago, back to her home turf in New York City.


Tess started her career in real estate at a boutique residential firm in the Financial District, where she specialized in assisting international buyers in their purchasing of pied a terres.  Entering the real estate industry through residential brokerage helped Tess learn key markets throughout Manhattan and through that she was able to establish relationships with reputable landlords. Prior to joining JLL, Tess was a Senior Associate at RKF in their New York office, focusing on national tenant and landlord representation throughout the tri-state. She was also hired as a consultant for the Howard Hughes Corp's redevelopment of the South Street Seaport which consisted of 365,000SF of retail and entertainment space.

Exclusively representing Bluemercury, Tess has secured over twenty locations throughout Manhattan, Long Island, and New Jersey. Her most recent deal was assisting Bluemercury in the leasing of their first New York flagship for 2,500SF at the Hilton in midtown. Tess also represented Columbia Sportswear, Sorel, and Eddie Bauer in their first New York locations in Flatiron and The Meatpacking District. In addition to tenant representation, she has experience with dispositions as she assisted Citibank, Lacoste, and Lucky Brand with their subleases in Soho. When it comes to agency work, Tess has represented several reputable landlords such as TF Cornerstone, The Moinian Group, Sitt Asset, Ashkenazy Acquisition Corp. and The Howard Hughes Corp as well as several Madison Avenue co-ops.

Education and affiliations

Tess earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as well as the Young Men's and Women's Real Estate Association (YMREA). Tess was also awarded 'Top 30 Under 30' by The Commercial Observer in 2013.
