Current responsibilities

Lalo focuses on Tenant Representation and Agency Leasing in Southern California, and his primary responsibilities include optimizing enterprise resources to increase productivity, mitigate risk and ensure high performance, while managing the real estate transaction process. In addition to developing new business opportunities on a local and national basis, Lalo's goal is to establish long-standing client relationships by delivering results that outperform the market with trust and integrity.

Before joining JLL, Lalo worked at Travers Cresa for 3 years. Lalo also spent 12 years working for Maguire Properties and Thomas Properties, two large institutional owners in downtown Los Angeles. He handled the leasing duties on almost 13 million square feet of Class A office buildings while negotiating over 100 transactions totaling over 2.5 million square feet on behalf of the ownership. This ownership experience gives Lalo a tremendous advantage when understanding the financial motives of a landlord and of a tenant, while navigating through the intricacies of an office building.

As a bilingual Spanish speaker, Lalo started his career as an analyst with Cushman & Wakefield in Mexico City, before returning to Los Angeles to continue his real estate practice.
