​​​Current responsibilities

Mr. Karaczynski joined JLL in 2016 as an Analyst in the Public Institutions group based in New York City. His role involves providing comprehensive real estate services for a wide range of public sector clients across the Northeast region. His responsibilities include providing financial analyses of complex real estate developments, researching / delivering insightful real estate market reports, supporting the team with Public Private Partnership strategies, and drafting proposals to support the group's business development objectives.

He has worked on the following transit oriented development projects:

  • S​pringfield Union Station (Springfield, Massachusetts): Springfield Redevelopment Authority is repositioning the historic station and envisions a multi-modal transit hub, including an intercity train station for Amtrak, 9 intercity bus berths, 17 local bus berths, 10,000 SF of retail, 60,000 SF of office and a 377-space parking garage. Adam assisted with the procurement process for the station's Property and Parking Management Services in addition to providing Landlord Representation Services for Leasing for the commercial components within the proposed station.

  • ​Hartford Union Station (Hartford, Connecticut): Greater Hartford Transit District: Greater Hartford Transit District sought consulting assistance to develop a Master Plan for Hartford Union Station due to planned increases of services at the station. Adam produced a property market research that explored the dynamics of the Hartford market, specifically addressing the opportunities for additional retail/entertainment uses that would cater to transit and the local patrons.

Previous experience

From 2013 to 2016, Mr. Karaczynski worked at J.P. Morgan in Oversight & Controls for the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). As an Associate, his role consisted of publishing and ensuring compliance with CIB's Operational Risk Standards. Adam performed root cause and trending analysis on CIB's operational errors, leading to thematic reviews and process improvements to prevent future economic losses. Additionally, he supported the Head of CIB Oversight & Control with various meetings with global regulators and requests from internal audit.

Education and affiliations

Mr. Karaczynski earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Adam also completed a summer program in Business Management at the London School of Economics. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New York.
