Jim McGrath is a Project Manager for the JLL Project and Development Services (PDS) group based in Philadelphia. His range of experience includes full project management of renovations, new construction, and infrastructure projects. His Project responsibilities include management of the entire design and construction process from conception through financial closeout, budget controls, administrative support, and project oversight.
With JLL, Jim has guided a number of clients through small & large office renovations, industrial fit-outs, retail renovations, as well as mlulti-site program management-based projects. His career experience starts from the design side, then spans through construction management, and now into an Owner’s Representative / Real Estate Project Management role.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Jim was a Project Manager with Harvey-Cleary Builders; a large commercial General Contractor in the Washington, DC area. While at Harvey-Cleary, Jim managed the construction process of High-rise and Mid-rise offices, Medical, Retail, Industrial, and Interior tenant build-out projects.
Jim has completed over $32 million worth of new construction work over the course of 7 years, consisting of approximately 762,000SF combined.
Before joining Harvey-Cleary, Jim worked on the design side of construction with Sustainable Solutions Corporation. The work included working with homeowners, industrial clients, and commercial portfolios. The consulting role specifically included project management, advising, sustainable architectural & engineering design, industrial engineering, and corporate marketing.
Education and Affiliations
Jim McGrath holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He also holds a LEED Accredited Professional credential from the USGBC.
