​Current responsibilities
Neal Sivie is part of the JLL leadership team within the Center of Operational Excellence group, a compliance and governance team specializing in collaborative leadership and delivery of best practices, continuous improvement, and data-centric performance in operations management.

Neal also serves on the IFM boards for the Smart Building Program and the Platform for Technology & Applications.

Neal has 22 years of engineering and operational management experience in semiconductor, telecom, and retail industries. Prior to JLL, Neal worked for JCPenney, a US based retail company, where he led the design, implementation, and sustainment operations for their building automation and energy management program. Scope and scale: retail; $50M capital program; 900 mixed-use facilities across 110M GSF.

As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at MCI WorldCom, he was part of a technical facility and engineering team that provided compliance and governance oversight to all network operating centers (NOCs).

Responsibilities included design/build standards, engineering review, building system commissioning, risk management, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling for high density cooling, SOP/MOP development for FM standards.
Scope and scale: Telecom; 40 Data centers + network operating centers; 28M GSF.

Early in his career as a facility and construction project manager, his role and responsibilities contributed to the design, implementation, and support of several mechanical, electrical, chemical, water, and building control systems for cleanroom facilities.
Scope and Scale: Semiconductor manufacturing; Class 5000 cleanrooms in US and Mexico.

Neal has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA from the University of Dallas – Graduate School of Business.
