Current responsibilities 

Based in JLL’s Denver, Colorado office, Duncan Heitman’s primary responsibilities include working with and servicing several corporate clients within the Rocky Mountain Region, including ACS, AON, Cisco Systems, CA, Inc., GSA, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Microsoft and United HealthCare. Additionally Duncan oversees and manages the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company account for JLL. Their portfolio consists of over 15 million rentable square feet and over 1,500 locations globally.

Experience
Duncan has worked within the corporate real estate industry for over 19 years and has focused exclusively as a Tenant Representative since 1998. In that time period, he has serviced corporate clients along with several local and regional based firms. Duncan helps to ensure his clients make the right business decision by aligning their real estate with their operational objectives. He has worked extensively in assisting clients evaluate lease versus buy strategies along with providing valuations on currently occupied facilities in order to assess the feasibility of acquisition, retention or disposition. His detailed approach to each project, the commitment to provide the best solution for his clients and attaining the most aggressive terms and conditions provide his clients with a valued resource.

Duncan started his career in corporate real estate at CB Richard Ellis in Chicago, Illinois in 1995. He then relocated to Denver and worked with Liberty-Greenfield, LLLP for over seven years. Liberty-Greenfield is a high-end boutique real estate firm in Denver, Colorado that focuses on complex real estate projects and specializes in Tenant Representation.

Education
Duncan received his master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Construction Management from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business in 2004. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Colorado State University in 1995.
