​Current responsibilities
Steve Sawyer leads our national supply chain management & procurement healthcare platform, managing $750+ million in annual operating and capital spend. His focus is on developing strong supplier and client relationships, securing top talent, reducing hard/soft cost, developing measureable glide path savings and master planning. 

Steve is responsible for developing strategic sourcing Business Case Analyses for clients, which provide them with an internal facility sourcing assessment and opportunities for standardizing, optimizing and reducing operational and capital fiscal year budgets year-over-year.

Steve has 19+ years of experience "solely" working in the healthcare industry. He has worked in hospitals and health systems in roles ranging from bad debt collection to health plans to HR.

Steve also worked in a major healthcare GPO overseeing the facilities, environmental services, construction and energy line of business, and chaired a facilities committee representing 19 hospital systems. Steve ran the Americas healthcare strategic sourcing platform for CBRE.

Steve has saved multi-state health systems more than $50 million through his management of $1
billion-plus in sourcing spend.

Steve holds an MBA in Business Administration from Queens University-McColl School of Business in Charlotte, NC, and received his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Radford University in Radford, VA. 

Steve is currently a Strategic Sourcing Healthcare Executive Board Member supporting the Executive Master's Degree program at Brazilian Institute, São Paulo, Brazil, North America.
