Current responsibilities
Jason covers the Salt Lake Market as a Senior Project Manager with JLL’s Project & Development Services group.  Jason has earned a reputation as a manager who is not content with “Good enough.”  He brings to any project a fervor for attention to detail, exceeding expectations, and providing clients with peace of mind that they will achieve their project objectives.  As Senior Project Manager, Jason oversees the entire lifecycle of projects from concept through design, preconstruction, construction, move, and closeout.  With his client’s interests as highest priority, Jason assists with assembling the appropriate team, develops the overall project roadmap, provides accurate budget forecasting, ensures client’s needs and desires are captured in the design process, facilitates the procurement of designers, consultants, vendors, and contractors with a value-driven approach, assists with contract negotiation and administration, oversees and monitors project implementation, manages risk, controls costs, reviews billings for appropriateness and completeness, orchestrates moves, and drives through a complete and timely closeout.   The result of all of this is a client who can remain focused on their core business while achieving their unique construction project objectives in the best possible time-frame at the best possible value.  


Experience
Jason has 8 years of experience in the construction industry and 4 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.  Prior to joining JLL, Jason worked for Executive Construction Inc. (ECI), a highly respected commercial general contractor in Chicago, where he was Senior Project Manager.  At ECI, Jason led and managed commercial interior construction projects for clients such as Zurich Insurance Group, Uber Technologies, Lockton, the John Buck Company, Hyatt Regency, UHC, Google, Prophet, and many others.   Jason also previously worked for CBRE in their Valuation and Advisory Services Group where Jason performed appraisals of major shopping centers, office buildings, distribution centers, residential subdivisions, and self-storage facilities.  Following that, Jason worked for Marcus & Millichap in their self-storage group as a sales associate.  Jason has many accomplishments in real estate and construction management which make him uniquely qualified to manage any scale and complexity of projects for JLL clients.  As Jason’s previous clients will attest, Jason brings to any project a disciplined attention to detail and very high standards of client service.  

Education and affiliations
Jason has a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University where he studied Business Management and Architecture, and a Master’s Degree from Illinois Institute of Technology where he studied Construction Engineering & Management.
