Current Responsibilities 
​Based in San Francisco, Jonathan is responsible for providing leasing services for retail properties in the Northwest, cultivating retailer relationships, and identifying new revenue opportunities to achieve high leasing performance. With expertise in property repurposing and redevelopment of regional shopping centers, specialty centers, and street retail, Jonathan successfully finds the right retailers for the ideal fit and merchandise mix, and negotiates the best deals for his clients.
 
Experience
Jonathan has 13 years of real estate experience specializing in redevelopments, urban economic development, public-private partnerships, urban planning and site selection.  His prior experience includes serving as Director of Leasing at Lightstone Group where he completed lease negotiations for leading online retailers. He also served as a Senior Leasing Representative at Rouse Properties where he developed strategic merchandising plans and revenue strategies for the redevelopment of San Francisco Bay Area malls - NewPark and Southland Mall. 
 
His additional experience includes working as a Retail Manager at Cushman & Wakefield where he oversaw property management for Crocker Galleria, a unique downtown San Francisco retail property. In this role, Jonathan reduced expenditures by 30% while improving the retail mix and occupancy at the property. Jonathan’s real estate background spans from specialty leasing at General Growth Properties to directing research and retail programs at the Alliance for Downtown New York to economic development and city planning.

Education and Affiliations
Jonathan holds a master’s degree in urban planning from The University of Michigan and a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a earned a Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation from ICSC.​
