​​​Current responsibilities
Peter Kroner is a Manager for U.S. Industrial Capital Markets in Investor Research at JLL with overall responsibility for driving the U.S. Industrial Capital Markets research.

In this role, Peter's research lies in analyzing and developing content on a macro-level, while demonstrating the ability to determine key market-level trends that emerge in the Industrial Capital markets. Peter's work on the U.S. Capital Markets Investor Research platform includes market analytics, client advisory work, forward thinking investment trends pieces, and investment strategies for JLL's key stake-holders and clients.

Peter has also been focusing on the development and overall standardization of industry leading capital markets data aggregation, with a key focus on data integrity and accuracy. Peter works with and across all of JLL's Industrial markets businesses, and has experience working with local market knowledge leaders in support of National-scope advisory and client support work. He is based in the firm's downtown Chicago office.

​Years of experience
Peter has been with JLL since 2014, starting as an Industrial Research Analyst with the U.S. Capital Markets Investor Research team. Prior to joining the JLL team while attending Graduate School at the University of Southern California, Peter was a Planning & Land Use Intern at the Elizebeth Peterson Group in DTLA. 

Peter also served as a Business Development Associate at the Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corporation in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, where his work taught him how to help local businesses find needed industrial/commercial real-estate space, navigate New York City government, access various incentive and grant opportunities, and conduct business community outreach in the form of a business survey conducted throughout the neighborhoods of Sunset Park, Gowanus, and Red Hook.

Prior to going back to Graduate School, Peter worked at software start-up ChannelIQ, where he was a Data Analyst and Account Manager, managing over $1.5 million of client contracts. Additionally, his work assisted in further fostering his interest in pursuing knowledge on various software systems, and contributed to his ability to architect the collection, processing, and output of massive amounts of data into an understandable context for any audience.

Peter also has a background in Food Production and Manufacturing, as he served as a Project Manager at a Food Manufacturer in Chicago's Back of the Yards Business District. His work allowed him to get involved in the product concept, procurement discovery and support, product fulfillment, production scheduling, product quality, product advertising campaigns, and logistics and supply chain for each component of a product. He also developed an extensive product database for each project, which contained pricing models, on-hand component contracted prices and supplies, nutritional models, blending models, product ratio formulas, all of which were designed to work in conjunction with each other to streamline the decision process for a new product line.

Peter has also interned in Washington, D.C. for the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) during his undergraduate education.

Peter has received a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California with a concentration on Economic Development and a Graduate Certificate of Real Estate Development. He also has received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Purdue University.
