Responsibilities
Daniel Ahlering is an Associate in JLL Capital Markets, Net Lease (formerly Net Lease Property Group or NLPG), a select team of professionals that specialize in the sale, purchase, and recapitalization of net leased retail, industrial, medical, office and ground leased assets throughout the United States and global markets.

Career Summary
Mr. Ahlering has an influential role within all aspects of the full-cycle investment sale execution and realization process. His expertise has resulted in lead participation in investment sale transactions in excess of $500 million ranging from nationwide net leased assets to complex sale leaseback transactions to urban high street retail. Throughout his three years with JLL, Mr. Ahlering's responsibilities have included asset valuation and underwriting, research and analysis of both net lease and macro-level capital markets trends, due diligence and marketing conceptualization, as well as many facets of the investment sales and execution process. Prior to JLL, Mr. Ahlering spent two years with Wintrust Commercial Banking, a regional commercial bank with assets exceeding $20 billion.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Ahlering received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also was a member of the Men's Varsity Soccer team. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, ICSC Next Generation, and Urban Land Institute. Mr. Ahlering is also actively involved with various Chicago-based charitable organizations including Imerman Angels, City of Hope, and Misericordia.
