​Current responsibilities
Wayne King joined JLL in 2016 as Senior Vice President and Senior Program Director. Wayne is responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to the JLL team and establishing the standard of service delivery for clients, delivering expert solutions to their real estate and facility issues.

He works closely with clients to assess and implement real estate initiatives, balancing costs with quality to yield the most effective project outcomes.

Years of experience
Wayne has more than 21 years of experience in the the managing and consulting industry. 

Prior to JLL, Wayne worked as a Senior Director of Workplace Management Services for BRG, a workplace management and consulting firm aquired by JLL.

During his 12 years with BRG, Wayne was responsible for directing personnel, providing leadership and oversight ot on-site teams and the fiscal, accuals, and forecasting the operations budget. 

Key transactions

  • Lead a workplace consolidation effort to kick off the integration of two major companies after a merger, including the coordination and removal of 200+ workstations, and developed plan, staffing, and schedule to accomplish the project within the designated 96 hours and coordinated with other move and construction resources. The project was completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Successfully planned, organized and stacked the movement of 125 persons from multiple buildings to a single-building consolidation in less than three weeks, saving the company approximately $515,000 associated with leasing additional new space.
  • Value engineered and reused repairable existing inventory to cut project expenses by $1 million for the installation of cubicle workstations, conference rooms and offices into a newly leased office complex. 
  • Created a client survey to provide feedback on services rendered, increasing awareness of customer satisfaction among employees. Wayne’s efforts helped improve overall client satisfaction from 75% to 94% over a six-month period. 

Wayne graduated Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture.

He retains his CoreNet Global Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation.
