​Current responsibilities
Heather Oberg, Vice President and Account Lead, joined JLL in 2016. Working in the Healthcare Solutions service line, Heather develops and implements processes to increase efficiency while also balancing costs and quality with project development and construction timelines.

She provides strategic leadership and guidance to her team, providing them with specialized healthcare equipment and operational knowledge. Heather works closely with organizations to assess and implement successful equipment planning, coordination and procurement initiatives, while establishing procedures and standards to maximize operational efficiency.

Years of experience
Heather has more than 12 years of experience, with eight years focused specifically on the healthcare industry. 

Most recently, Heather worked at BRG, a workplace management firm acquired by JLL in 2016, as Program Manager of BRG’s Healthcare Practice.

During her five years with BRG, she provided construction and project management to her healthcare clients, including planning and implementing complex patient relocations and operational go-lives.

Previous experience includes AOS USA, Inc, and Coldwell Banker United. 

Key transactions

  • Provided overall management for project involving 69 beds (29 rehab, 40 long-term acute care) and 100,000 square feet 
  • Provided overall project management for 276-bed new hospital bed tower, existing space renovation and expansion. Project included the following departments: Surgery, Pre/Post Op, PACU, Cath Lab, CDU, ICU, Cardiac Unit, Surgical Unit, Medical Unit, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, SPD, Clinical Engineering, Cardiology, Radiology, Maternity, NICU, Cafeteria, Conference Center, On-Call Rooms, Caribou Coffee, Administration, POM, Materials Management, and MRI 
  • For new six story cancer center, provided overall management for 170,000 square foot project that included the following departments: inpatient resource center, image boutique, clinical trials, genetics, survivorship and wellness, GYN, ENT, sarcoma, thoracic, blood draw, developmental infusion, outpatient infusion, central lab, immunotherapy, oncology, breast, GI and GU Clinics

Heather attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is Attainia Plan certified and is currently working towards her Project Manager Professional Certification.
