​Current responsibilities
Daniel Chan, Vice President and Manager of ARCHIBUS Technical Services, joined JLL in 2016. In this role, Daniel provides the development and technical expertise to JLL’s Technology Solutions team as they provide analysis, development and implementation of technical solutions for JLL’s Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Facility Management (FM) clients.

With Daniel’s expertise in systems management development, he advises our project implementation management team and consults with internal technical and project management teams to develop creative solutions to meet client requirements.

Years of experience
Dan is a seasoned CRE and facility management veteran with more than 12 years of experience. 

Most recently, Daniel worked at BRG, a workplace management firm acquired by JLL in 2016, as Manager of Technical Services. He managed all technical aspects of implementations and provided oversight for the entire software lifecycle, including design, technical build, testing, deployment, and documentation, and provides technical client training to shorten end-user adoption.

Prior to that, Daniel worked at Idisis, Inc. for nine years as Director of Technical Services. 

Key transactions 
City of Calgary: Played a key role in the City’s 2013 flood response; Created C-level dashboards to show key metric performance of space; Identified space vacancies in non-affected buildings for mission-critical departments from affected buildings to move to, ensuring their continued operation; Served as Technical Architect and Consultant for ARCHIBUS Room Reservation implementation, ensuring successful integration with existing IT infrastructure

Daniel received his bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary. He is an Oracle Certified Professional and is FranklinCovey certified for Leadership and 7HHEP.
