Current responsibilities
As the mid-Atlantic and Federal Government lead for JLL Technology Solutions, Katy Redmond provides expert guidance to clients as they evaluate their processes and vision for data management, and develops unique solutions by helping them incorporate cutting-edge technologies applicable to their everyday tasks.

Katy and her team provide CRE technology consulting and advisory, IWMS diagnostics and rescue, and IWMS implementation and support. Katy's goal is to deliver solutions that retain and maximize our clients' investment in technology, while helping them evolve towards actionable business intelligence and insights. She represents dedicated practices with expert certifications in ARCHIBUS, IBM TRIRIGA, Manhattan, CenterStone and iOffice.

From point solutions to IWMS and everything in between – Katy helps JLL clients understand the expanded flexibility and choice and tie it all together with the state-of-the-art Business Intelligence platform, RED. Katy also leads business development for JLL's Occupancy Planning and Relocation Planning & Management practices throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Katy develops customized solutions for each requirement, maintains strong relationships with end users and strategic partners, and provides attentive quality assurance for her clients. She connects new clients with subject matter experts from a wide range of JLL practice groups, and keeps her network abreast of the latest innovations and research from JLL's global consulting resources.

Katy's sector specialties include federal and local government, government contracting, healthcare, technology, life science/biotech, manufacturing, higher education, and financial and professional services.

Experience
Katy joined JLL in 2016 through its acquisition of BRG/Fox RPM Corp, where she had served for 11 years as Director of Business Development and Client Service, responsible for contracts with a total valued in excess of $50 million.

Katy has more than 20 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, marketing, and account management with such prominent organizations as McGraw-Hill, Bloomberg BusinessWeek and Advance Publications, and as the founder of Essex River Partners, a business development consultancy.

Awards

Education
Katy received her B.A. in English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she was recognized as a Helen Heath Scholar.
She has completed Federal Capture Management and Proposal Management training through Lohfeld Consulting, and is currently pursuing the CoreNet Global Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) certification.

Affiliations
Katy has served as a multi-term member of the board of the CoreNet Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Katy is an active member of SAME, IFMA and CREW, serving as a committee volunteer for each.


Outside of JLL, Katy actively supports OCEARCH, a non-profit dedicated to the capture of scientific data related to tracking (telemetry) and biological studies of keystone marine species, in conjunction with conservation outreach and education, and Rivers of Recovery, which provides rehabilitation to physically and psychologically injured U.S. combat veterans using innovative, outdoor-based therapies and pioneering research.
