Current responsibilities 
Erik Caylor joined JLL in 2016. As an Assistant Vice President, Technology Solutions Account Manager, he is responsible for maintaining client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Erik coordinates the involvement of JLL resources to meet project performance objectives and is ultimately responsible for the success of all account projects. As a corporate real estate (CRE) subject matter expert, Erik provides strategic insights to clients around operational processes, organization dynamics and technology requirements.

Years of experience
Erik has more than 21 years of experience in the CRE and IWMS industries. 

Erik joined JLL as part of their acquistion of BRG, a workplace management firm. At BRG, he worked as an Account Director on their IBM TRIRIGA Practice.

Previous employment experience includes exp US Services, Inc, where he worked as Director of IT Solutions for three years. While there, he provided information technology-related services to public and private clients. Erik got his start working with Teng and Associates, where he worked for 12 years, starting as an Electrical Engineer and working his way up to IT Solutions Manager.

  • Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC)
    Designed and implemented a comprehensive facilities technology master plan to assist the CDC in leveraging the latest information technologies; Selected and implemented TRIRIGA IWMS enterprise application platform to manage their real estate portfolio of 330 leased and owned buildings – 9M sf in property assets; Implemented full suite of TRIRIGA applications including Portfolio Management, Lease Management, Space Management & CAD Integrator, Capital Projects, Operations & Maintenance and custom Program Management & Budget Formulation modules
  • American National Retail Company
    Led development of a custom-designed facility information tracking and project management software tool, guiding it from design concept to live production
  • Global Telecommunications Corporation
    Delivered web-based Facilities Management System; Created intuitive, easy-to-use interface to extend data mining capabilities and rapid drawing access to a broader internal audience; Helped implement additional IT services, such as GIS and database administration 

Erik received his Bachelors in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer. He is currently pursuing his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
