Current responsibilities
Michael Davies is a National Director with JLL's Regional Markets and Corporate Solutions team. He is responsible for developing JLL’s Integrated Portfolio Solutions business across Asia and driving strategy for clients that work with JLL’s tenant representation and markets platform across the region.

In 2001, having completed a Masters degree in Property Valuation and Law from Cass Business School, Michael started his career with JLL in London and spent four years working with the City Markets team before relocating back to Hong Kong in 2005, his original home, to take up a role with Savills.

Michael spent seven years as a Director with Savills, leading business development for their Regional Tenant Rep platform. In 2012 Michael Joined Cushman & Wakefield to lead their Regional Tenant Advisory group before rejoining JLL in 2015.

Michael’s expertise primarily covers business development of real estate platforms for occupier but also includes marketing consultancy of major commercial developments, portfolio leasing, transaction management, general market agency and tenant representation.

He has worked on major projects in Hong Kong including 28 Hennessey Road, 20 Queens Road East and 2A Taikoo Place. As a tenant advisor Michael has portfolio management experience across Asia Pacific with occupiers such as Willis Towers Watson, Allegis, UBS, AON, Jardine Lloyd Thomson and the Financial Times and has brokered in excess of 1,000,000 sqft of leasing transactions in Hong Kong & Asia over the past 10 years.

Michael holds an MA in Property Law and Valuation from City University, London, Cass Business School as well as an undergraduate degree from the University of Bristol, West of England.

Michael is active in the Hong Kong real estate community and currently sits on the organizing committee of the RICS Conference for APAC 2016.
