Current Responsibilities
Carey Froelicher's responsibilities include in-depth analysis of retail development and redevelopment projects all over the United States, working closely with and supporting the JLL Retail, Capital Markets, and Development teams. Carey's expertise contributes to the success in a variety of transactions for the JLL retail division. Her comprehensive analysis is an asset in the decision-making process that is so necessary for JLL clients in development.

Carey began her commercial real estate career working alongside a local broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in the Tampa Bay market. Through that experience she honed many relevant skills: marketing, listing presentations, and researching values for a variety of property types. In this role, Carey solidified her direction and career passion for commercial real estate. She then committed to the University of Florida MSRE program, where she graduated in May 2016. In this program she evaluated real estate from a marketability standpoint, with a focus on financial feasibility. Carey's teams won both the Ground-up Development Project Competition necessary for completion of her Development II class, and the year-end Capstone Redevelopment Project Competition. These two competitions demanded extensive market research using CoStar and local broker knowledge, professional presentation skills, and Excel modeling for a multifamily redevelopment site.

Education and Affiliations

Carey is currently a member of ICSC and relies heavily on networking. While holding a real estate license in the State of FL, she is also pursuing her Certified Commercial Investment Member ("CCIM") designation, which she began while at University of Florida as a part of the MSRE curriculum. Carey's present goals include expanding her current position with additional skills, such as ARGUS, and growing her own commercial portfolio while attaining her status as a retail broker.
