Our people

David McGarry is responsible for the overall integrated service delivery of our markets from Canada to Florida, along the Eastern Seaboard and the Great Lakes. Previously, he was the Mid-Atlantic Market Director. During his 25 years with the company, Mr. McGarry has provided his expertise in creating development strategies to numerous large corporate clients. He has a technical background in development management and consulting and has served as the lead project manager of several of JLL’s larger developments, including the following:

  • 125 High Street: A 1.5 million square-foot, full city block office and retail development in Boston’s Financial District. The project included the demolition of a 300,000 square-foot building and the construction of two towers (30 and 21 stories), 50,000 square feet of lobby/retail space, an 850 space underground parking garage, a major new fire station and ambulance facility, and the complete renovation and restoration of three 19th century buildings. Mr. McGarry spent over eight years leading this project through the approvals process, financing, construction and finally leasing. 
  • Parametric Technology Corporation:  Development of a 400,000 square-foot, build-to-suit headquarters office project in Needham, MA.  The development included a land purchase and sale/leaseback transaction.  Mr. McGarry was the primary contact with the client and manager of the project team.
  • Oracle Corporation: As Account Manager, he identified sites, negotiated purchase, and oversaw the development of approximately 750,000 square feet in Nashua, NH; Reston, VA; and Colorado Springs, CO.
  • Cambridge Park: Mr. McGarry was responsible for the development of two buildings within this urban office park in Cambridge, MA totaling 430,000 square feet.
