Current Responsibilities
Sean is a Vice President with JLL's Project and Development Services Group in Honolulu, Hawaii. He provides project oversight including preconstruction and construction management services. Typical duties include project planning, program development, estimating, design review and coordination, scheduling, budgeting, bidding, change management, site assessment, project team coordination, project documentation, contract review and negotiation, vendor/contractor compliance, and procurement.

Sean develops and maintains strong working relationships with all client representatives and service providers to support our focus on excellent client advocacy.

Sean is a construction executive with 21 years of experience overseeing all phases of multimillion dollar construction including commercial, retail, hospitality, office and medical construction. He has extensive experience in preconstruction and coordination services. Key projects include:

  • Center at Waikiki,  Honolulu- $7.4 million ground-up construction of 32,000 SF multiple tenant retail facility which included the demolition of historical Waikiki 3 Theatre
  • New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, Honolulu- $8 million multiple renovations to guest rooms of boutique hotel on Kaimana Beach including ADA and penthouse suite upgrades
  • Laulani Village Shopping Center, Ewa Beach- $40 million retail and mixed-use commercial space with eight separate buildings, ranging from one-to-two stories tall on 20 acre site
  • Dow AgroSciences Administration and Farm Support, Kaumakani- $11.3 million construction of five pre-engineered metal buildings on 16 acre campus
  • Salvation Army ARC – Honolulu- $4 million renovation to existing 93,000 SF men's adult rehabilitation center including replacement of chiller and HVAC equipment, structural slab areas, kitchen, and common bathroom shower facilities
  • DSI Beretania – $2.4 million repurposing of existing retail building to convert to a dialysis clinic with complete underground water treatment system, structural retrofits and new electrical service

Education and Affiliations
Sean graduated from the University of Washington with his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Bachelor of Arts in Design and Planning. He is LEED Accredited in Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD + C) and is also OSHA 10 Hour safety trained.
