Current Responsibilities

Marilynn Joyner is an Associate in the brokerage division of JLL's New York City Midtown office. She represents various occupiers in New York City and throughout major national and international markets.

Ms. Joyner specializes in advising clients on their leasing and real estate strategies with a special emphasis on strategic planning, market analysis, workplace strategy, lease review and negotiations. She utilizes her comprehensive market knowledge and expertise to develop and implement sophisticated real estate strategies to reduce costs, save time, and mitigate risk for her clients.


Ms. Joyner has experience representing a number of corporate users, including managing HSBC's portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic and New York City.

Prior to joining JLL's New York City brokerage division, Ms. Joyner worked with one of JLL's top international producers in the Washington, DC office. She has over six years of brokerage experience with a strong knowledge of national and international markets.

Education and Affiliations

Ms. Joyner earned a master's degree in real estate from Georgetown University and dual bachelor's degree in political science and dance performance from the University of South Carolina.

She is currently a member of The Real Estate Board of New York, The New York Junior League, Georgetown University's Alumni Association, New York City Ballet's Young Patrons Circle and The Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association.
