​Current responsibilities
John Rocca is a Managing Director with JLL. He leads JLL’s Consulting practice in the Western U.S. and is responsible for business development, marketing, and sales.

Based in Downtown Los Angeles, John is an expert in delivering real estate consulting services with a focus on location strategy, economic incentive negotiations, portfolio and headquarters strategy, workplace, and occupancy planning.

John joined JLL after 13 years with CBRE’s Strategic Consulting practice. Prior to this, he spent four years at Deloitte Consulting performing corporate real estate consulting and three years at KMG Consulting, a boutique land use and real estate economics firm.

John is an expert in identifying the optimum location for new business expansion, relocation, and consolidation of operations. He is skilled in identifying, securing and optimizing economic incentives in support of these engagements. 

John has provided consulting services in the financial services, technology, insurance, healthcare, aerospace, e-commerce, and consumer products industries. He has assisted clients with critical siting decisions for opening new shared service facilities, distribution centers, R&D, data centers, and manufacturing operations.

John earned his master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Southern California. He has a bachelor degree in Political Science from the University of Los Angeles.  John is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California.
