Current Responsibilities

Brad Wakahiro is currently a Senior Project Manager in Hawaii responsible for managing high profile projects in the Honolulu area. Brad specializes in the construction of new financial centers, major renovations, and is a subject matter expert on retail project types. His excellent client management skills have made him successful as a Regional Manager for two national retail programs, and as a regional Program Manager and national SPOC (single point of contact) for the client's Retail Capital Improvement program, helping the client achieve all of their annual performance goals and metrics at every level.


Brad previously served on JLL's Bank of America account in several capacities since joining the team in 2004. He offers over 21 years of experience in the construction and corporate real estate industry as an architect, contractor/ developer, and owner's representative project manager.  He has managed a wide range of projects ranging from retail financial centers, class-A office buildings, tenant improvements, tilt-up warehouses, higher education facilities, governmental, and residential projects.  Prior to joining JLL Brad was a Project Manager with Cushman & Wakefield, IW Bison Construction Management, the University of California at Berkeley, and Opus West Construction Corp. in California, and with Paul S. Osumi, Jr., AIA, Inc. in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The following are a few examples of Brad's key accomplishments:

  • Construction of a new financial center for the relocation of the San Francisco Main Branch
  • Served as one of only two JLL Representatives to Bank of America's project management leadership summit
  • West Regional Manager for Bank of America's New Store Program (CA, OR, WA, ID, & NV)
  • North Regional Manager for Bank of America's Major Renovation Program (CA, OR, WA, NJ, & NY)
  • National Program Manager for Bank of America's Mortgage Initiative Program
  • Construction of a build-to-suit Class-A Office Building complex for Cisco Systems at Emerald Point, Dublin, CA

Education and Affiliations

Brad holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
