​Current responsibilities
Edward Connolly is a Senior Vice President / National Director with JLL Consulting. Edward has responsibility for corporate real estate advisory and corporate strategy consulting. He is JLL’s Mergers & Acquisitions specialist, with additional specialties in portfolio strategy, process optimization, location strategy, and financial modeling. 

Edward's responsibilities include portfolio strategy, mergers & acquisitions advisory, financial analysis, location strategy, organizational design, program management oversight, and the development and implementation of PortfolioCommandSM.

Edward brings more than 18 years of experience in real estate advisory, capital program management, and financial services. He has served clients across a wide spectrum of industries, including financial services, utilities, technology, life sciences, health services, and manufacturing. 

Prior to joining JLL, Edward worked for HuaMei Capital Company’s M&A Investment Banking practice where he advised Chinese companies on acquisition, capital fundraising and strategic partnership development opportunities with Western companies and investors.

Previously, Edward worked for Ernst & Young LLP’s Real Estate Advisory Services practice where he advised corporate clients on capital project-related financial and operational risk management. 

In this role he specialized in feasibility evaluation, project management oversight, cost controls assessments, capital program governance design, contracting strategy, business process improvement, and strategic planning.

Edward earned a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Civil (Structural) Engineering from Cornell University. 

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and a former trustee of the Cornell Rowing Association. He is a licensed broker in the State of Illinois.
