Current Responsibilities
Based in Chicago, Anthony is an Associate in the Midwest Retail Division and specializes in retail expansion brokerage, disposition, and project leasing throughout downtown Chicago and the surrounding Chicagoland area.

Experience
Anthony has a long family history of entrepreneurs in retail. In 1924, Anthony’s great-grandfather, Joseph Genovese, opened the first Genovese Drug Store in Astoria, Queens. 74 years later, in 1998, the Genovese family sold the 141 store chain to J.C. Penney.

Anthony was facinated and inspired by how his family opened new stores and expanded their retail presence year after year. He knew that he wanted to help retailers, like his family’s, expand their presence as well.

In February of 2016 Anthony joined JLL to pursue his passion and currently represents national and international retailers in their expansion efforts throughout the Midwest. Anthony also plays an integral part of a team that is rolling out the shared beauty suite concept, Salon Lofts, throughout the city of Chicago and suburbs.
