Current Responsibilities
Mr. Forrester is vice president specializing in agency leasing, development preleasing,  consulting and tenant representation. The primary role of the Nashville Retail Team is to successfully assist retailers and developers in locating, evaluating and negotiating existing retail locations and build-to-suit transaction and land development deals in and around Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Southwest Virginia, West Virginia, and occasionally Michigan. The team utilizes its collective and expansive expertise in identifying optimal retailer site selection, leveraging agency leasing opportunities, evaluating sites and negotiating deal structures.  If a retail client has a specific build-to-suit need, the team has established an extended network of highly qualified development partners that meet the competencies required for single-tenant, and/or multi-tenant projects.

Experience and Accomplishments.
Mr. Forrester started his career with The Shopping Center Group in Nashville, Tennessee in 2005. In 2014, Brian worked with Centennial Retail Services on their agency leasing division until joining JLL in November of 2015.

Brian has performed over 300 real estate transaction, both representing retail occupiers and property owners. More than the number of transactions, Brian's focus is on maintaining beneficial collaborative relationships with clients by keeping a focus on integrity and clear communication.

Brian was named one of Nashville's top retail brokers multiple years by the Nashville Business Journal, and has been active on the CCIM Middle Tennessee Chapter's board of directors.  In 1996, Brian was honored with the opportunity to carry the Olympic Torch as part of the Atlanta Olympic Games.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Forrester earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University and obtained his CCIM designation in 2010.  Brian is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi.  Brian is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the CCIM Middle Tennessee Chapter.
