Our people

Current responsibilities 
Will Weaver is a Senior Project Manager with JLL’s Project and Development Services group in the Carolinas region, and is the Sustainability Practice Lead for the South Region. Mr. Weaver is responsible for the project delivery of various projects such as interior build-outs, distribution facilities, as well as ground-up projects for JLL clients.

Currently with JLL, Mr. Weaver is responsible for project delivery related to sustainability and leadership, working with local and national accounts to execute projects needing sustainable business expertise.  In this capacity, Mr. Weaver consults with business leaders, universities, and city, county, state and federal policy makers on issues related to LEED certification, high-performance design, net zero building, and green building policies.  Mr. Weaver works with clients to define desired business results and then develops the sustainable strategies to achieve those results in order to enhance performance and improve overall asset value.  Currently, Mr. Weaver is leading the LEED EB certifications for eleven Bank of America projects and a LEED CI certification roll-out for Wells Fargo administrative facilities across the U.S. 

Experience
Prior to joining the Project and Development Services group, Mr. Weaver was a member of JLL’s Bank of America Account team where he served as the Portfolio Sustainability Manager.  In this capacity, Mr. Weaver led the LEED EB certification of three key Bank of America administrative properties totaling over 450,000 s.f.  Additionally, Mr. Weaver spearheaded the implementation of numerous energy, waste and water reduction projects throughout Bank of America’s real estate portfolio.  

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Weaver was the Director of Sustainability for the general construction firm Cox Schepp Construction.  He worked most notably on the LEED certifications of numerous core and shell projects for Bissell Development Company, and the LEED certification of multiple Aloft Hotels.  Before Cox Schepp, Mr. Weaver was a Sustainable Design Practice Area Leader for the architectural firm Gensler.

Education and affiliations
Mr. Weaver has an MBA in sustainable business with a concentration in green development from Marylhurst University, and a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University.  Mr. Weaver is a member of AIA, is NCARB certified, has a LEED BD+C and ID+C accreditation, is an accredited Green Roof Professional (GRP), and is a Green Advantage Certified Practitioner (GACP).
