​Current Responsibilities
Based in Tampa, Ms. Birkentall is a Project Coordinator with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality Group. She is primarily responsible for conducting research, providing tax estimates and transactional support for the Property Tax Services team on current and future hotel clients in the U.S.

Ms. Birkentall has contributed to numerous research and data development projects over the course of her career including her involvement in Chevron’s Global Master Data Greenbelt Project and Six Sigma process role design for in house technology management. Most recently before coming to JLL, she managed a $10 million de-commercialized assets project which required the coordination of environmental inventory disposal, fire sales, or products to be worked off into existed inventory for the purpose of reducing tax expenses on no longer used materials.

Prior Positions
Prior to joining JLL in 2015, Ms. Birkentall worked for Chevron as a Supply Chain Data Coordinator for Chevron’s multi-billion dollar American downstream fuels, lubricants and petrochemicals manufacturing division. While at Chevron, she worked closely with global master data organization teams to streamline Chevron SAP/APO application structure that minimizes operational planning risk. Additional responsibilities include base oil forecasting, quarterly cost and freight optimization, global inventory and tank capacity projections, coordination of sales and operational (S&OP) meetings.

Education and Affiliations
Ms. Birkentall holds a Bachelor of Science Management in Business and Legal Studies, minor in Marketing from Tulane University. In addition, she completed her Masters in Finance from Tulane University in 2013. At Tulane, Annie held several Research & Teaching Assistant positions but was most prominently known for being a Management Communications Teaching Assistant which heavily focused on formal business presentation coaching.
