​​​​Current responsibilities
George Cutro, a veteran of almost 30 years of research in the Chicago Industrial market recently joined JLL as Director of Industrial Research for the Midwest region. Prior to JLL he worked at Colliers International for 19 years where he was promoted to VP of industrial research in 2010.

His responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of JLL's new MarketSphere database. He will coordinate efforts with local research team and demonstrate best practices on how to maintain database work flow. His efforts will also include the streamlining quarterly data gathering and scrubbing of third party data.

George will utilize his strong ties with the brokerage and institutional community to help bolster JLL's proprietary comp database. He will also share those connections with the local team, teaching them how to foster those relationships. George will also collaborate with Brokerage, Capital Markets, Project & Development Services and Property Management to create synergies with market data collected.

Database management is George's number one strength. His knowledge of the markets is admired by his peers. He also mentored many of the researchers in the Chicago market.

Years of experience

George started his career at Cushman & Wakefield where as an analyst he acquired skills in database management, spreadsheet analysis and report writing.  He was quickly promoted to senior analyst. After 9 years of learning his craft he joined Colliers International.  There he helped develop a web-based database. George was also asked to join Colliers International Research Council, which implemented strategies and shared best practices to strengthen the Colliers brand. George also strengthened his relationship with the institutional owners in Chicago as they often called upon him for special projects.

George is happily married to wife Kathy. They have three boys, Matthew, Brian and Stephen who keep them quite busy.

George received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.

George is a member of AIRE, Chicago's oldest Real Estate member organization. He is an active member of Boy Scouts.​
