Current responsibilitiesAnn Marie Woessner-Collins is Managing Director and founded and manages the Business and Economic Incentives team in North America. The Practice helps companies negotiate with state and local governments to reduce upfront capital and expense costs along with ongoing operating expenses and taxes. Ann Marie and her team’s accomplishments include negotiating legislative changes in 15 states and applying little-known statutes to achieve solutions for clients. The group’s experience covers all types of facilities including heavy manufacturing, warehouses, corporate headquarters and offices, R&D facilities, data centers, and call centers. Clients include businesses in the following sectors: food and beverages, telecom, sustainable energy, financial, insurance, retail services, rail, aerospace, airlines, biomedical/biotech and automotive.

Experience Ann Marie has 30 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining the Staubach Company and then JLL, she served from 1999 to 2001 as Partner for the Southwest Business Incentives and User Energy Practice at KPMG, LLP. Ms. Woessner-Collins’ responsibilities included developing strategies that reduced both the operating and tax costs for clients in many industries. She has vast food manufacturing experience. From 1986 to 1999, Ms. Woessner-Collins served in various positions with the Frito-Lay Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of PepsiCo, lastly as Director of Incentives, Energy and Purchasing. During her career at Frito-Lay, she managed over 45 million square feet of real estate and was responsible for all new plant site locations for a decade, business incentive negotiations, over a billion in purchasing which included food equipment, installation and construction contracts, and $350 million in energy purchases. Ms. Woessner-Collins also worked in various capacities with Trammell Crow Company, 3M, and Dayton Hudson Corporation.EducationAnn Marie holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M and has an M.B.A. in Finance from the College of St. Thomas.Awards
