​Current Responsibilities
Based in Tampa, Mr. Breeding is an Executive Vice President with JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group specializing in property tax services. Primarily responsible for overseeing all hospitality appeal assignments in the U.S, he projects property tax costs and identifies ways to reduce costs. Mr. Breeding processes tax bills and provides audit support when needed. He assists clients in preparing supportive reports and analysis regarding property tax and helps clients manage compliance complexities. 

Through 28 years in the property tax industry, Mr. Breeding has extensive knowledge of assessing principles and practices. He exclusively represents hospitality owners and operators across the country through the entire appeals process, even in court when necessary. He also developed the Deloitte National Hospitality real estate tax division. 

Prior Positions
Before joining JLL, Mr. Breeding spent 15 years as a Principal at LodgeTax, a group of national hotel property tax experts. He was a tax manager with Deloitte & Touche from 1998-2000 and served as the Vice President of Real Estate Tax Services for seven years prior. Mr. Breeding worked as a Review Appraiser for the Orange County Property Appraiser’s Office in Orlando, Florida from 1987-1991.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Breeding is a graduate of the University of Florida where he received a degree in Finance. He is a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers and was awarded the Certified Florida Evaluator designation by Florida’s Department of Revenue. Mr. Breeding is also a member of the Appraisal Institute, a global membership association of professional real estate appraisers.
