​Current Responsibilities
Based in Tampa, Mr. Calverley is an Executive Vice President with JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group specializing in property tax services. He manages client relationships to ensure their properties are effectively represented. Acting as a partner, Mr. Calverley helps his clients seek out property tax reductions and maximize savings from the very first level of appeal. 

Mr. Calverley has more than 25 years of experience in real estate tax consulting in the areas of client service, including new business development, quality control, deliverables and client communication. He has extensive experience in day-to-day real estate tax administration and communication. His career has been focused on hotels, resorts, theme parks, special use and industrial assets. 

Prior Positions
Prior to co-founding GSI / LodgeTax in 2000, Mr. Calverley was the Client Services Manager of the Mid Americas with Deloitte & Touche, LLP (D&T). He was instrumental in developing the Deloitte National Hospitality real estate tax division. Duties included interacting with some of the nation’s most prominent property owners with an emphasis on hospitality, themed and complex property. Prior to his time at D&T, Mr. Calverley was a Vice President of Real Estate Tax Services, Inc. (RETS) for six years.​

Education and accomplishments
Mr. Calverley is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where he received a BA in Marketing. He is a three-time America’s Cup crew member with his last attempt at the Cup in 2003 in Auckland, NZ. He also sits on the Board of the Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida and is a member of the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
