Current responsibilities
Rory Gammell is a Vice President on the International Desk based in Silicon Valley & San Francisco, and is focused on representing corporate tenants with their global transaction requirements.

Originally from Scotland, Rory spent over 4 years in Hong Kong as a Tenant Rep broker advising many of the city’s largest office tenants on transactions and developing their long term portfolio strategies.

Using his knowledge of tenant activity in Asia and the UK, Rory assists corporate tenants with any international requirements, providing a strong link to the London brokerage team as well as Asia.

Experience
In his prior role in Hong Kong, Rory was responsible for both leading and supporting on local corporate real estate requirements. Rory provided advisory services to optimize our clients’ occupancy strategies including new lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals and restructure services.

Rory has extensive analytical experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. His track record includes over 2 million sq ft of transactions for global clients such as JPMorgan, Barclays, Fidelity, BlackRock, Interpublic Group, Northern Trust, Zurich, Standard Life and Silicon Valley Bank. These included many complex requirements involving multiple long term strategy projects.

Education and affiliations 
Rory is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a licensed Hong Kong Sales Agent. He holds an MSc in Real Estate Management and Development from Heriot Watt University and an MA in French from The University of St Andrews.

In Hong Kong, he was highly active within the British Chamber of Commerce as Chair of the Young Executives Network and a member of the Scottish Business Group.
