Bo Bond

Managing Director/Regional Director

JLL – Data Center Solutions Co-Lead

Current Responsibilities

Mr. Bond is Managing Director and Co-Leader of JLL's global Data Center Solutions practice team.  He is a recognized leader in the real estate industry whose knowledge of technical issues, infrastructure, and labor assessment has allowed him to develop the unique skill set required for mission critical and contact center requirements.  He works with clients to develop the necessary strategies to meet their individual objectives including tenant and owner representation, investment sales and acquisitions, leasing and development of these unique assets.

Experience

Mr. Bond has over 24 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.  He was with The Staubach Company for ten years, and became a member of the Jones Lang LaSalle team when they merged with Staubach in July 2008.  Mr. Bond has successfully negotiated over 20 million square feet of real estate transactions in multiple states.  Some of his recent transactions and top clients include:

  • Various data center assignments including: Yahoo!, Levi Straus, TXU, Deloitte TD Ameritrade, NC Soft, JP Morgan Chase, Mervyn's, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cisco, Williams- Sonoma, Capgemini, AMD, Southwest Securities, Children's Medical, QTS, CyrusOne, Internap, Williams-Sonoma, Nexen Petroleum
  • Various call center assignments including: Apple, Brinks, Inc., Cingular, Aegis
  • Communications, Atmos Energy, Verizon, Guitar Center, PepsiCo, T-Mobile, AHMSi
  • AAA – regional headquarters and contact center relocation
  • ACS - multiple assignments
  • American Airlines - 293,939 SF building sale
  • American Heart Association – multiple assignments
  • Aviall - 280,000 SF corporate headquarters and global distribution center
  • Brinks, Inc. – multiple assignments
  • Corps of Engineers - multiple assignments
  • MetroPCS – 115,507 SF corp. headquarters, regional offices and switch sites
  • Quality Technology Services (QTS) – 700,000sf and 40 acre wafer fab acquisition
  • Safety Kleen - 109,526 SF corporate headquarters relocation
  • SBC Communications - 125,000 SF regional headquarters
  • Sprint/Nextel Communications - multiple acquisition and disposition assignments
  • VHA - 323,294 SF corporate headquarters renewal

Education and Affiliations

Mr. Bond earned a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing/sales (cum laude) from the University of Mississippi.  He has been recognized numerous times for achievement during his career, including:

Mr. Bond is a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), 7x24 Exchange, and AFCOM.  Bo is recognized nationally as a data center industry expert and speaks multiple times a year at data center conferences.  He is married with three boys and enjoys coaching all his children's sports.
