Current Responsibilities

Darren Ferguson is an Associate in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Commercial Leasing and Brokerage Group based in the New York office. Darren and his team assist and advise major corporations, technology firms and public institutions in addressing their real estate needs; offering services ranging from strategic planning, leasing and sales transactions, project development, and project finance. Specifically, Darren assists in the sourcing, design and execution of real estate strategies that align with clients’ overall business objectives.

Experience

Darren joined Jones Lang LaSalle in the summer of 2012 as an Associate within the Capital Markets Group. While with the Capital Markets Group, he supported the Investment Sales and Real Estate Investment Banking teams where his responsibilities included constructing comprehensive underwriting, debt placement and valuation analyses, coordinating due diligence and developing marketing materials for the sale and financing of commercial real estate across all asset types.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Ferguson worked at the Roseview Group where he assisted lenders and financial institutions in valuing, managing and disposing of distressed and non-performing commercial assets, including notes and foreclosed property (REO). Specifically, he built complex financial models to evaluate various assets and loans and also assisted in the management and disposition of foreclosed properties across a variety of asset types.

Education and Associations

Darren graduated from Tufts University where he received a Bachelor’s of Arts in both Architectural Studies and Entrepreneurial Business and was a four year letterman on the varsity football team. While in Boston Darren was actively involved in various non-profits throughout the Boston metro area including Year Up! and Artists for Humanity and seeks to do the same in New York.
