Our people

Abraham “Abe” Cooper is a Vice President within JLL’s (NYSE:JLL) New York Capital Markets Practice.  Working directly with the firm’s Group Head/Vice Chairman, the scope of his responsibilities include:

  • Raising project-specific and portfolio level debt and equity capital for institutional and entrepreneurial owners, developers and sponsors across all asset formats nationally.

  • Brokering loans on behalf of financial institutions and special servicers.

  • Providing strategic advisory services to investors looking to increase or decrease their real estate exposure.

Mr. Cooper originally joined JLL in 2014 as a leasing broker where he represented the real estate interests of hedge fund, private equity, technology and professional services organizations, having concluded transactions in excess of 300,000 RSF. Among these transactions included Phillips NIzer’s 53,162 RSF relocation from 666 Fifth Avenue to 485 Lexington Avenue, of which Mr. Cooper received the “Big Step” award at SL Green Realty Corp.’s Annual Deal Awards ceremony.

Mr. Cooper earned his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from The George Washington University.  He is deeply involved with the University’s Center For Real Estate & Urban Analysis as Junior Advisory Board Member.  Mr. Cooper is also a Young Patron Advisory Board Member at The Jewish Museum of Manhattan.
