Current Responsibilities:
Amanda Bokman is a managing director in the Brokerage division of JLL’s New York Midtown office. She focuses on complex acquisition and disposition assignments on both office and industrial transactions. While her assignments have been with clients in multiple industries, she specializes in representing tenants in the retail and apparel sector, as a result of expertise developed in her previous professional experience. Recent client assignments have included office and warehouse engagements for Nine West Holdings (fka The Jones Group), Aeropostale, and Fifth and Pacific Companies, in addition to a host of financial services, publishing and pharmaceutical engagements.

Experience:
Ms. Bokman’s real estate career spans over 15 years, during which time she has completed approximately 10 million s.f. of transactions. She joined JLL in 2014, following eight years at CBRE. Before joining CBRE, Ms. Bokman spent 14 years in the position of CFO at various wholesale and retail apparel companies, including J. Crew, Jones Apparel Group-Moderate Division and McNaughton Apparel Group. In each of those roles, she was instrumental in leading those firms through significant periods of growth, as well as having the responsibility for real estate, which had to adequately support each company’s strategic plans. She completed numerous transactions throughout her CFO career including the acquisition and disposition of multiple office and retail locations, as well as the relocation and expansion of distribution facilities.

Prior to joining McNaughton Apparel Group, Ms. Bokman was an associate partner in the Acquisitions group at Tishman Speyer Properties, a commercial property owner and developer. Ms. Bokman started her career at Arthur Andersen & Co. and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Education and Affiliations:
Ms. Bokman is a graduate of New York University, where she earned a bachelor of science in accounting. She graduated Valedictorian of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors. Ms. Bokman is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
